Greta's Celestial Run 6KM - Pro-Musher Driven

Cosa farai

Welcome to a husky experience designed for those who want to slow down, connect and simply enjoy the moment carried by the rhythm of the dogs.

From the moment you arrive at the kennel, there is no rush. No crowds passing through, no pressure to move quickly. With small groups of just 8 to 12 guests, the experience feels calm, personal and genuine where there’s time to take it all in, from the landscapes to the dogs themselves.

The Experience

Greta, Victor and the team will warmly welcome you and introduce you to the dogs and the world of mushing. Instead of driving yourself, you’ll sit comfortably in the sled while an experienced musher guides the team, allowing you to fully relax and enjoy the journey.

Once everything is ready, you’ll settle into the sled as a team of eager huskies takes off into the snowy landscapes. The 6 km ride moves at a gentle, natural pace, taking you through forests, across open areas and into the quiet beauty of Lapland. With no need to focus on driving, you’re free to look around, take photos and simply feel the connection between the dogs, the trail and the musher.

There is a short stop along the way to take photos and fully appreciate the surroundings before continuing the journey back to the kennel.

The Dogs

You’ll meet a team of 20+ friendly Alaskan huskies, each with their own personality and energy. Their excitement is something you’ll notice right away: barking, wagging and ready to run. These dogs love what they do and that joy becomes part of your experience from the very first moment.

After the Ride

Back at the kennel, the experience continues at a slower pace. You’ll have plenty of time to meet the dogs up close, pet them, take photos and watch them interact in their environment. Seeing them relax, play and socialize gives a deeper understanding of their lives beyond the trail.

Afterward, we gather inside a traditional Finnish hut (kota), where you can warm up by the fire and enjoy homemade snacks prepared by Greta and Victor. This is also a moment to share stories about the dogs, about life as a musher and about what it really means to live and work in the Arctic. You’re always welcome to ask anything.

Who Is This Tour For?

Greta’s Celestial Run 6KM is perfect for anyone who prefers a more relaxed experience without driving families, couples, elderly guests or simply those who want to sit back and enjoy the ride. It’s also ideal for first-time visitors and those who want a deeper, quieter connection with the dogs.

The minimum age is 4 years old, and the sled comfortably fits up to 2 adults and 2 children.

This is not just a ride, it’s a gentle way of stepping into the world of huskies, where trust, care and connection guide the journey.

Because at Empyrean, everything we do begins with the dogs. Where Dogs Truly Matter.

Frequently asked questions

During the season 2026/2027, we charge an extra fee of 10 euros per person.

Self driving tours are driven by your self, we will explain you how to drive, set the team for you and let you drive on our tracks. Self driving seems really complicated but with our easy trails the only thing you have to do is to control the speed by pressing partially the break (Like going downhill with a vehicle).

Musher-driven tours are driven by us, we will take full control of the sled and let you sit down and relax. We will have more dogs and have more speed as we have a better control.

We always recommend to wear as many layers as you need plus one extra layer (If you are really sensitive to the extra heat, you can carry it in a backpack the extra layer). It is always better to remove a layer than to feel so cold that there is nothing that can warm you up.

We offer overalls in some of our tours but if you don’t have anything under, it won’t help as much.

In the beginning of the tour, there isn’t much time as we have to explain the instructions and dogs are really excited to start so they are not happy to wait for too long. We will help you in the halfway of the trail to take your phone and take a picture of you*.

Then after the drive part, we will have plenty of time to take pictures of the surroundings and the dogs!

*Passengers can take pictures and videos while the driven part, drivers are not allowed to take their hands of the handle bar.

If they want, you are more than welcome to pet them after the ride. Same as us, sometimes dogs are having rough days and they might not want so much or any petting at all. (Bad night, eating something funny, disagreement with the neighbors, etc)

We don’t force the dogs to pose for our guests but we invite them to join us.

We would love that everyone sees our kennel and let you be with our dogs but even the dogs they need their own free time without social interaction or “work” as the physical rest is important the mental rest is essential for their welfare.

No, you won't need to drive as the musher will do it for you.
