Welcome to a husky experience that moves at a different pace: on foot, side by side with the dogs, through the quiet landscapes of Lapland.
Husky Walk is for those who want to connect more naturally, not by sitting on a sled but by walking alongside the huskies, feeling their presence, their curiosity and their energy in a more grounded way.
The Experience
From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is calm and unhurried. With small groups, this experience is designed to feel personal and relaxed, giving you time to truly connect with the dogs, the surroundings and the moment itself.
After a short introduction, you’ll be paired with one of our huskies, each equipped with a comfortable harness and leash. Before heading out, we’ll show you how to walk together safely and naturally.
Then, the walk begins.
You’ll head out on a gentle hike through forests and natural trails, with your husky by your side. Some dogs will lead with enthusiasm, others will walk calmly beside you but all of them bring their own personality to the journey. It’s not about distance or speed, but about sharing the path together.
The Dogs
Our huskies are social, curious, and used to being around people. Walking with them in this way allows you to see a different side of their character: how they explore, how they react to nature and how they connect one-on-one.
This is a quieter, more personal interaction than on a sled, where you can really get to know your dog.
After the Walk
Once back at the kennel, the experience continues. You’ll have time to spend with the dogs, petting them, taking photos and watching them relax and interact with each other.
Afterward, we gather in our cozy space to warm up with homemade snacks and hot drinks. This is also a time for storytelling about the dogs, their lives and what it means to live and work with them here in Lapland. You’re always welcome to ask questions or simply enjoy the moment.

This activity is sold out.
During the season 2026/2027, we charge an extra fee of 10 euros per person.
We always recommend to wear as many layers as you need plus one extra layer (If you are really sensitive to the extra heat, you can carry it in a backpack the extra layer). It is always better to remove a layer than to feel so cold that there is nothing that can warm you up.
We offer overalls in some of our tours but if you don’t have anything under, it won’t help as much.
In the beginning of the tour, there isn’t much time as we have to explain the instructions and dogs are really excited to start so they are not happy to wait for too long. We will help you in the halfway of the trail to take your phone and take a picture of you*.
Then after the drive part, we will have plenty of time to take pictures of the surroundings and the dogs!
*Passengers can take pictures and videos while the driven part, drivers are not allowed to take their hands of the handle bar.
If they want, you are more than welcome to pet them after the ride. Same as us, sometimes dogs are having rough days and they might not want so much or any petting at all. (Bad night, eating something funny, disagreement with the neighbors, etc)
We don’t force the dogs to pose for our guests but we invite them to join us.
We would love that everyone sees our kennel and let you be with our dogs but even the dogs they need their own free time without social interaction or “work” as the physical rest is important the mental rest is essential for their welfare.
